Steve Busalacchi, President of Busalacchi Custom Homes, has been building homes in the Treasure Valley and Washington since 1999. Although Steve has always had a true passion for real estate and new construction, he did not grow up in the industry or become involved in it through a traditional path.
Steve’s early professional career included working in the television industry as a TV and radio sports anchor in various markets, including Boise. While there is not a logical connection between the two industries, the common denominator is people and knowing how to communicate with people, asking the right questions and then listening to the answers. Clearly, those skills are all very important in the home building process.
If you ever work with Steve in the design and build process, you will quickly hear many of his sayings, one of which is a BCH core philosophy: “SAY WHAT YOU DO, THEN DO WHAT YOU SAY! Sounds simple, but Steve and his team truly live by that code.
Building a home can be a complicated process with many moving parts, and sometimes what is put on the construction plans presents unanticipated issues during construction, but Steve and his team, as well as the BCH trade partners and suppliers, work very hard to resolve issues that may develop and try to come up with not only a solution, but a solution that may be better than what was created on the original construction drawings.
Building homes is true passion for Steve, as a result of that passion, Steve and his Busalacchi Custom Homes team work very hard to make sure the homes we build for our clients, whether they are a custom build project or one of our spec homes, exceed our customers’ expectations.
